Project 1: Strengthening the Protective Environment and Livelihood Resilience in the Lake Chad Basin (Niger)

This project improves access to quality health and nutrition services, strengthens protection for women and children, and improves food security and livelihoods for vulnerable populations in the Lake Chad Basin area of Niger. Project 2: VITA (Niger)
Lead partner: Action Contre la Faim (ACF) | Location: Tera – Ayorou | Duration: October 2025 – July 2027 | Beneficiaries: 34,461

VITA delivers multisectoral emergency assistance, strengthens long-term food and nutrition security and resilience in the Liptako-Gourma zones, and promotes social cohesion and peaceful coexistence in cross-border communities, guaranteeing the active participation of women, youth and marginalised groups. Consortium members: ACF (lead), Plan International, HED TAMAT. Sectors: WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Food Security, Health.

 

Project 3: NRC Niger Project
Lead partner: Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) | Location: Tera – Ayerou – Sirfikouara – Tangoushmane – Inates | Duration: October 2025 – June 2027 | Beneficiaries: 117,353

This project ensures rapid and quality protection services for vulnerable people, including gender-based violence response and child protection, guarantees access to nutrition, health, WASH and psychosocial services, and improves food availability and livelihoods while strengthening household resilience. Consortium members: NRC (lead), ALIMA, SOS MÉDECINS, BEFEN, CADEL. Sectors: WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Food Security, Health.

 

Project 4: RALLIER (Project closed)
Lead partner: Mercy Corps Europe | Location: Madarounfa – Guidan Roumdji | Duration: May 2023 – October 2025 | Beneficiaries: 59,387 (36,490 in Madarounfa · 22,897 in Guidan Roumdji)

RALLIER increases access to food assistance and essential nutrition, health, and protection services among crisis-affected populations, and strengthens local service systems to better prevent and respond to protection, health, and nutrition needs through national partner organisations.
