FUNDED ACTIVITIES

Project 1: RésiSila
Lead partner: INTERSOS | Location: Bagazoum | Duration: June 2025 – June 2027 | Budget: £5,000,000 | Beneficiaries: 54,000

RésiSila strengthens the resilience of vulnerable communities affected by conflict and climate change in the Bagazoum area. The project promotes environmental restoration and sustainable natural resource management, supports economic empowerment with a focus on women and youth, reduces gender-based violence and improves social cohesion, and provides rapid emergency response in food security, shelter, and non-food items. Consortium members: SECADEV/CARITAS, ADESOH, ACCCIA, INTERSOS (lead). Sectors: WASH, Protection, Food Security & Livelihoods.

 

Project 2: Strengthening the Protective Environment and Livelihood Resilience in the Lake Chad Basin
Lead partner: International Rescue Committee (IRC) | Location: Commune de Fouli | Duration: March 2023 – December 2025 | Budget: £4,616,180 | Beneficiaries: 200,899

This project improves access to quality health services for vulnerable populations, particularly children under five, addresses severe and moderate malnutrition, strengthens the protective environment for women, girls, and boys, and improves food security and livelihoods in the Lake Chad Basin. Consortium members: SOS Sahel International, CONCERN Worldwide. Sectors: Nutrition, Protection, Food Security & Livelihoods, Health.

 

Project 3: ASSILA (Initiative for Integrated Resilience in the Province of Sila)
Lead partner: CONCERN Worldwide | Location: Goz Beida – Dogdore | Duration: June 2025 – June 2027 | Budget: £5,000,000 | Beneficiaries: 89,505

ASSILA improves access to essential services for the most vulnerable communities in eastern Chad and strengthens community resilience and self-reliance through an integrated multisectoral approach. Consortium members: Organisation Humanitaire pour le Développement Local (OHDEL), Ground Water Relief (GWR). Sectors: WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Food Security, Health.

 

Project 4 : Multisectoral Emergency Response in Chokoyan Sub-Prefecture
Lead partner: ACTED | Location: Abeche – Adre – Chokoyan | Duration: August 2025 – June 2027 | Budget: £3,000,000 | Beneficiaries: 119,636

This project improves the resilience of displaced and host communities through livelihood restoration and sustainable natural resource management, strengthens community-based protection services, ensures access to healthcare and nutrition for displaced and host populations, and provides emergency response to vulnerable groups affected by shocks. Consortium members: ALIMA, Alerte Santé, Nirvana. Sectors: Nutrition, Protection, Food Security, Health.

Project 5: PMARRP (Multisectoral Project Supporting Resilience for Refugees, Returnees and Host Populations in Wadi Fira Province)
Lead partner: Humanity & Inclusion (HI) | Location: Guereda – Iriba | Duration: July 2025 – June 2027 | Budget: £4,000,000 | Beneficiaries: 207,644

PMARRP strengthens protection for refugees, returnees, and host populations, improves access to inclusive quality basic services, reinforces food security and livelihoods, and provides integrated emergency response to preserve the dignity of newly arrived refugees and returnees. Consortium members: Humanity & Inclusion (lead), Relief International, ADES. Sectors: WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Food Security, Health.

Project 6:  Integrated Project for Resilience and Socio-Economic Inclusion in Ouaddaï
Lead partner: ATAHS (Agence Technique pour l'Action Humanitaire Sociale) | Location: Abéché | Duration: June 2025 – June 2027 | Budget: 500,000,000 XAF | Beneficiaries: 54,000 (35,490 refugees · 5,460 IDPs · 8,190 host community members)

This project improves access to quality health services and combats malnutrition, strengthens the protective environment for women and children, and improves food security and livelihoods for vulnerable refugee and host populations in the Ouaddaï region. Consortium members: CARITAS N'DJAMENA, ADESOH, ACCCIA. Sectors: Nutrition, Food Security, Health.

Project 7:  Livelihood Improvement and Resilience Project in Ouaddaï Province (SOSSIT)
Lead partner: SOS Sahel International Tchad | Location: Hadjer Hadid | Beneficiaries: 348,613

This project contributes to improving living conditions for populations affected by the Sudanese armed conflict through sustainable production techniques, malnutrition reduction, and environmental preservation. It reinforces food security and livelihoods of host and refugee communities, improves nutritional status of women and children, and expands access to water, hygiene, and sanitation services. Sectors: Food Security & Livelihoods, Nutrition & Maternal/Child Health, WASH.

Project 8: Community Resilience and Protection Project in Assoungha (AFDI)
Lead partner: AFDI (Association des Femmes pour le Développement Intégré) | Location: Hadjer Hadid · Brédjing and Tréguine camps | Beneficiaries: 2,549

This project improves food security and economic resilience of communities in Hajar Hadid, and strengthens protection for refugee women and children facing gender-based violence risks in Brédjing and Tréguine camps. Sectors: Food Security, Livelihoods, Protection.
