Call for Proposals 2025: Central Sahel & Lake Chad Basin

Selection of projects

Following a pre-selection phase based on the evaluation of concept notes, 10 international NGOs, in consortia with national and/or local NGOs, had been called upon to submit their full proposals. An evaluation committee made up of sector experts from donors, external consultants and DRC, and coordinated by the Fund's management unit, was set up to assess the projects using a defined scorecard. The official press release below describes the pre-selection process. 

3 projects have thus been pre-selected for the following consortia leads:

• Action Contre la Faim (ACF)
• International Rescue Committee (IRC)
• Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC)

The projects pre-selected above will be contacted to make some adjustments to their projects following the committee's assessment, to ensure that they all meet the most appropriate standards. In parallel, the due diligence procedure will be carried out.
